Day 1: Hanoi Arrival ( D )
On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport, our tour guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy welcome Vietnamese dinner with " Nem Cuon " or fresh spring roll at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi - Mai Chau ( L, D )
Today, depart for Mai Chau, the home of Thai people. On the way, stop at Muong and Dao village where the limestone mountains dominates the landscape. Afterward, continue to our destination, the Lac village. enjoy typical lunch of the Thai people with " Bamboo sticky rice " , one of Thai speciality. The afternoon walk in the village gives you a better look on local life. In the everning after having dinner with local Thai food you will be entertained with ethnic cultural show. Artists will perform10 dances and songs telling you about their life, culture, history, love and tradition. Homestay in Maichau.
Day 3: Mai Chau - Son La Plateau ( B )
After breakfast with Thai People in Mai Chau, drive 38km from Mai Chau to Sa Linh for 2 hours trek to the village of the H'Mong people. then continue to green Moc Chau plateau, the main providing area for Vietnamese green tea . After check in your hotel in Son La, tour to Son la Prison built by French in the begining of 20th for detaining Vietnamese Nationalist. Overnight in Son La.
Day 4: Son La - Dien Bien Phu Basin ( B )
Leaving for Dien Bien Phu, the battlefield in 1954, the end point of Vietnam - French War, we will take a break at the ethnic market of Thuan Chau where local minorities selling their home products. In the afternoon, enjoy historical tour in Dien Bien Phu including Museum, A1 Hill, Muong Thanh Brigde and De Caste Bunker. Overnight at Dien Bien Phu.
Day 5: Dien Bien Phu - Phong Tho ( B )
Today, drive to Phong tho for market which is opened every Fridays. Next is a short trek to the village of Lu and Thai in Ban Hon Valley. Checking-in Phuong Thanh Hotel. In the afternoon free at your leisure. Overnight in Phong Tho.
Day 6: Phong Tho - Sapa ( B,D )
After your breakfast at your hotel, continue our trip to Sapa, the land of clouds and mountains .On the way, photo stop at the main entrance to Fansipan Mount, the highest one in Indochina and the Silver Waterfall. Afterward, trek to Lao Chai, the home of Zay village. In the evening, enjoy a lighting dinner in Sapa Town. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 7: Sapa - Bac Ha Market ( B )
Today, depart for Bac Ha market, the biggest mountainous market in the Northwest of Vietnam. Upon arrival at the Market, spend 2 hours there before going back to Laocai train station for overnight train back to Hanoi. On the way, stop at border gate between Vietnam and China .In the everning free at leisure for dinner and personal activities just outside of the station then embark the train. Overnight on train.
Day 8: Hanoi Departure ( B )
We come back to Ha Noi at 06 am, free at leisure then transfer you to Hanoi airport for home departure.
