Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (B)
Upon arrival welcomed and transferred to your hotel. If the time permit enjoy a half day city tour in Hanoi. Tonight be our guest at Vietnamese restaurant for special welcome dinner. overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour ( B )
Today, after breakfast at the hotel, the morning city tour allows you to see the other part of Hanoi for deeper understanding the 1000 years old city. We start at Hochiminh Complex including Hochiminh Mausoleum, The Presidential Palace, His House on Stilt and the One Pillar Pagoda. Next, move to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam and depart for Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon, we visit Hanoi Hilton, the nickname for Prison where American Pilots was detained during Vietnam war. After experience in the prision, visit the biggest market in Hanoi called Dong Xuan where you could be trapped in souvenir and Vietnamese products. In the evening free for your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay ( B, L, D )
Today, get up early for morning Tai Chi with local people at Hoan Kiem lake, then have “Pho” the typical breakfast for Vietnamese people. Leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay, the world natural heritage site, enjoy drive though the rural area with scenic view of rice paddy field in the Red River Delta. You may be lucky enough to see cows or pigs on motor bike or Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo. After 3 hours driving, check in Vietnamese wooden junk. Journey along the spectacular limestone islands through floating villages while having sea food lunch, then disembark to visit 'Sung Sot' or “Surprising Cave”, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Next stop is Titop Island where you could swim or climb up to the top for panoramic view. In the evening, You will be delighted by candle light dinner on board with sea food. Overnight on board in Ha long bay.
Day 4: Halong - Ninhbinh ( B, L )
Today, continue to explore Halong Bay with Luon Cave and Halong City. Our Halong bay cruise will finish after lunch, then disembark at pier and head the south to Ninh Binh. Here the limestone mountains and rice paddy dominates the landscape. Overnight in Ninh Binh
Day 5: Ninhbinh - Tamcoc – Vinh ( B, L )
In the morning, enjoy two hour leisure boat trip along the Nhue Dong River to Tam Coc Cave . Almost silently, we will slide through no fewer than three limestone tunnels that span the river's flow, emerging into the valley that slips like a corridor among the limestone precipices. Later we will say goodbye to Tam Coc and take road trip to city of Vinh, the home town of Hochiminh. On the way top for lunch at local restaurant and enjoy a visit to Hochiminh Complex. Overnight in Vinh.
Day 6: Vinh - Donghoi - Phongnha Cave ( B )
After breakfast at your hotel, travel south to Phong Nha Cave, the recently declared World Heritage Site of Province of Quang Binh. Enjoy boat trip along the Son River to Phong Nha Cave then drive to city of Dong Hoi, check in hotel and overnight in Dong Hoi
Day 7: Dong Hoi - Hue ( B,D )
From Dong Hoi, travel south to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that once separated North Vietnam from South during Vietnam War. Stop at Vinh Moc tunnel complex, an underground village by the banks of the Ben Hai River. After visiting the tunnel, continue to Hue, check in Hotel and enjoy dinner with Vietnamese cruisine. Overnight in Hue
Day 8: Hue City Tour ( B, L, D )
Rise for an early breakfast, followed by a visit to the city's vibrant Dong Ba Market then The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart to the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum and one of Hue's beautiful garden houses where you will have a private lunch. The afternoon dragon boat trip on The Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda allows you to go through history buddhism in Vietnam then visit King Minh Mang's Tomb and King Khai Dinh' Tomb, the contrast of Traditional and modern architectures. Overnight in Hue
Day 9: Hue – Hoian ( B, D )
We travel through the high pass of Hai Van with its spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean to Hoi An. On the way, stop at Cham Museum in city of Danang for the last collection of Champa Kingdom then continue to Non Nuoc stone carving village. Check in the hotel and enjoy dinner at local restaurant with special cuisines. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 10: Hoi An – My Son Sanctuary ( B )
Today, enjoy an oriental walking tour in Hoian including Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung House, Ong Pagoda and Hoian Market followed by, from Hoian, travel to My Son Sanctuary, the heritage site recognized by UNESCO. This strange isolated complex of ancient stone buildings is believed to be a sacred place of the long lost Chapa kingdom. These architecturally unique relics are believed to be over a thousand years old. Drive back to Hoian and free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi an
Day 11: Da Nang Departure ( B )
Free at your leisure until transfer to Da Nang airport to fly to Saigon (or Hanoi) to connect with the flight back home.
